African Pygmy Goats

Our specialty is silver African Pygmys. We have raised all colors, and a couple of other breeds, but fell in love with these guys!

This is Chloe. She was our farm favorite, and her first baby. Chloe had her brother and her mother die before she was 6 months old and was raised literally by a village! She was the sweetest pygmy we'd ever met. Everybody who met her when we travel always loved her. She turned out to be a great mother! She had a set of gorgeous twins! Chloe passed in the winter of 2009. We've never had another quite like her.

We knew Caroline was due soon, but she decided not to wait! She hid her little baby girl for at least one whole day before we found her! She has the most gorgeous colors. Her feet look like they've been dipped in black paint.

Anna, in the middle of the three, was in labor for 12 hours with nothing happening. Our vet, Beverly Hargus, animals-r-us (they are wonderful!!!) did an emergency c-section on a sunday morning at 8am! Mom and baby pulled through, however, we lost the baby 2 days later. 

Feed time is a family affair! it takes alot of hands to take care of this farm!
