Nigerian Dwarf Goats

We no longer specialize in Nigerian Dwarfs but we've had alot of fun with them in the past! Old news still worth sharing: 

We had our largest birthing season ever in November 2008....11 babies born in 5 days!

• Nigerian Dwarf twins on Tuesday afternoon, November 13th to Lucille.
• Nigerian Dwarf twins on Thursday afternoon, November 15th to Coco.
• Pygmy triplets on Thursday night, November 15th to Lucy.
• Pygmy twins on Friday morning, November 16th to Chloe.
• Pygmy single birth on Friday afternoon, November 16th to Caroline.
• Nigerian Dwarf single birth on Saturday, November 17th during our 6 year old sons birthday party! What a present for everyone!!!

Lucille gave us our first babies of the year- beautiful white twins, both males. They look so small compared to their mom.

This is Lucille, named in honor of our Nana, Lucy Beddingfield, who passed away in 2005. Lucille was among the first Nigerian Dwarf goats we bought when all this craziness began! She had these beautiful twins-both billies! Needless to say, SALE ON BILLIES!!!

This is Coco, one of the first Nigerian Dwarf goats we bought. She was always a little smaller and very shy. She gave us a gorgeous pair of black twins-also both billies! She is a terrific mother.

Lucille's beautiful boys! They look just like their dad, appropriately named Billy Badass.

This is Billy Badass, our former standing stud Nigerian Dwarf. He blessed us with healthy, strong, beautiful babies this year, his first year in service. Billy was not only a good breeder also very friendly and extremely easy-going. We miss ol' bill...he passed away in the winter of 2009.
